Video Submission

NUBA is asking each athlete who applies for Team Nunavut to also submit a 10 minute video.

Athletes MUST submit both an application and video to be considered for selection to the final

NUBA Team Nunavut Training Camp.

WHAT IS NEEDED ON YOUR NUBA VIDEO?

1) Introduce yourself on the video wearing the same clothes you are wearing in the video clips.

Please give:

Your Name
Your Community
Your Birthdate
Your Community Coach (if you have one)

2) Skills needed in your video:

Right Hand Lay-Up (5 in a row)
Left Hand Lay-Up (5 in a row)
5 Dribble Drives with a pull up jump shot - right-side of court
5 Dribble Drives with a pull up jump shot - left-side of court
5 shots from 3 point line - right corner (off of pass)
5 shots from 3 point line - left corner (off of pass)
5 shots from 3 point line - top (off of pass)
5 Free Throws in a Row
Zig Zag Dribbling with both hands - full court
5 minute segment of 3 on 3, 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 game

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR NUBA VIDEO?

NUBA will be asking athletes / coaches / parents to set up a private YouTube account that Team Nunavut coaches will have access to view each athletes video.

Please follow the steps below:

1) You will require a Gmail email account. (will need to create one)

2) Go to: youtube.com and sign in. (using your Gmail email)

3) Click on the video camera icon, then select the 'Upload video' option.

4) Drag and drop your file/video in the area or select the file/video from your computer.

5) Complete the 'DETAILS' section:

a) Title = Full Name, Community and Birthdate

b) Description = Your jersey number as in video or colour of shirt / shorts

c) Audience = Click - 'Not made for kids'

d) Click 'Next'

6) Complete 'VIDEO ELEMENTS'

a) Click - 'Next'

7) Complete ' VISIBILITY'

a) Click - 'Unlisted' - This means your video will be on your channel but only accessible to the coaches who you will share link with.

b) Click - 'Save'

8) Your video is now uploaded to your own YOUTUBE Channel.

9) Click - the rectangle Icon and copy your link.

10) Paste the link in an email to your coaches and send.
